Luck of the Irish

I found these awesome new kix for Sephra and they actually arrived before St. Paddy's day. She just wanted to wear the shoes, and they are so adorable I want some too! And she belts out 'march and sing' while in them!

Sephra loves her bagel with cream cheese and usually eats the whole thing. I had my back to her washing dishes and I could hear her talking about yum yums and just assumed she was eating her bagel so much to my surprise when i turned around she had cream cheese all over her face. and she says to me, wash my face mommy, i had to snap a few pictures!

So Uncle Leo, Masha and Baby Niko sent this outfit for Sephra and it is SOOOO cute. She absolutely loves it wants to wear it all the time and she bows and puts her hands together like a master ninja would do.

The Rest of The Story...

I finished the last few pages of 'The Last Lecture' last night. Wow, I cried with every word, maybe the pregnancy hormones, maybe not, but either way I was left humbled. Reminded of how precious life is and how every minute should be cherished. The weird thing about the last few pages was that I was almost hesistating in reading them. I think I knew it was going to be emotional and though I never personally met Randy I felt a sort of *awe* inspired connection with his words and I suppose with him. Knowing that I too would have to say goodbye.

So here's the interesting rest of the story...my homage to Paul Harvey who died a few days ago...
Last week I was talking to one of the guys I work with, Hemanth. We've worked together on and off since I've been here at Sony and our paths seem to cross at different stages. Now that we are working together again we of course have brief impromptu conversions about work/life and coincidently enough he brought up the book last week out of the blue. He'd actually seen the video of 'The Last Lecture' and said he was brought to tears. I told him the book had done the same to me and we compared stories and feelings about how amazing life is and how blessed we are to live in such a beautiful place with really everything at our fingertips.

Heaven on Earth

Last night Sephra and I went to Trader Joe's for lots of good stuff. She's currently in love with the freeze dried mango and I'm totally digging the soy chorizo burrito...YUMMY!!! I promised we would go to the Yogurt place for her favorite 'pink' flavored swirl. Which is actually strawberry and on the way we window shopped at a cool local boutique, Heaven on Earth. She jumped out of my arms dying to get in so we did and I ran across the cutest jewelry! Made by a Korean company called Lolis, the stuff is vintage looking, made of resin? i think...adorable...I picked up some really cute earrings with king's crowns' and the green cat ring, both really reasonably priced, $12.50 & $10.00, respectively. I can't wait to get a couple of other things! Check out their website www.lolis.biz. Sephra also found these little stuffed animals and picked out the pink turtle. I think it was the shiny material that caught her attention and since pink is her favorite color I couldn't resist getting it for her at the bargain price of $3.50 :)
